This is an archive area of files which are being shared BY Principals, FOR Principals

There is no intention to try to pretend that any of the files you find here are "best practice." They are simply files which have been found useful in school settings and are provided for you to download, modify, or do whatever you like with.

Please be aware that the file developer can not verify the correctness or otherwise of any formulas, and the advice is: use if you like, don't use if you don't like !

Some files may be "working drafts" feel free to add/modify/subtract..whatever.

If you have files that you are willing to share, please email them as attachments to the Website Manager.

All files are Microsoft Office files, as all Principals in NSW schools have access to this software. If you have Clarisworks or AppleWorks files that you are happy to share, then send them along and they can probably be converted to Word or Excel or whatever. It is felt that if we stick with the Office standard, it at least makes the files useable for everybody. Click here to go to the lists of available files

  • Enrolment Stats and Staffing Calculator - Enter the figures into the spreadsheet from your OASIS Roll Class Stats report and your Staffing Entitlement and Enrolment return figures will be automatically generated.Updated 17.7.06 -
  • Staffing Calculator and Class Formation worksheet Updated 29.8.2005 - Enter enrolment figures on the spreadsheet to calculate staffing and then use the class grid to plan possible class allocations. Note: the Year 2 formula for 2006 is yet to be applied.
  • Age Calculator - Enter names in the first column and Date of Birth in the second column.  Nominate a calculation date and the spreadsheet will calculate age at that date in Years, Months and Days. Uploaded 29.8.2005 (Email queries - Roger Pryor)
  • Markbook - Use for a single class or group if you need/want to be able to generate rankings, Band, etc.Just enter the total possible score, children's names, and their score for the task. The spreadsheet will do the rest. (Email Queries - Roger Pryor)
